Hi everyone, my name is Andrey.

I’m an amateur photographer. I do not arrange photo sessions on purpose, just take a picture when I see something unusual. Also, I have no intention of being a pro as it can turn the process into a routine for me. I’m fond of nature and abstractions, I'm not good at portraits or catching people's right angles in general.

A huge pile of shots isn’t my way of taking pictures. I save only the best of the best and remove the rest of them ruthlessly. Photoshop isn’t what I prefer. This is not fun at all. Sometimes I can crop or slightly adjust colors on my smartphone in the system Photos app before uploading, but that happens very rarely.

My mobile phone is always with me in my pocket not to miss anything. Amongst all cameras I will choose a compact camera over a professional one. Gigantic devices make me lose interest in bringing them with me. Besides this, compact ones make the process a sport. You need to make an effort to shoot an object exactly the way you see it with your eyes.
